Privacy Policy
This page explains what we collect when you visit dofigavsego.bond or place an order with Cloudleaf Bakery Co., and how we look after that information.
Who we are
Cloudleaf Bakery Co. Pty Ltd (ABN 78 412 905 663) operates the website at dofigavsego.bond and the bakery at 142 Sturt Street, Southbank VIC 3006. When this policy mentions “we”, “us” or “Cloudleaf”, that is who we mean. You can reach our privacy contact at [email protected].
The information we collect
We try to collect as little as we can while still running the bakery. In practice that means:
- Order details. Name, email, phone, delivery address, the date of your event and any dietary requirements you share.
- Communications. The content of emails, contact-form messages and SMS exchanges related to your order.
- Website usage. Basic logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) used to keep the site reliable and to spot abuse. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
- Cookies. A single preference cookie that remembers your cookie-consent choice. See our cookie policy for detail.
How we use it
- To fulfil and deliver your order.
- To reply to your enquiries and tasting requests.
- To send order confirmations and pickup reminders.
- To keep records required by Australian tax and food-safety law.
- To improve the bakery — for example, by reviewing which catering platters customers re-order.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share only what we have to with the small list of providers below, and only what they need to do their job:
- Our hosting provider, who stores this website.
- Our email provider, used for order confirmations.
- Our courier partner, for orders that need delivery outside our team’s direct route.
- Our accountant and the Australian Taxation Office, for tax and invoicing records.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years to meet Australian tax obligations. Marketing-permission records are kept until you withdraw consent. Website logs are kept for 30 days.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you can ask us to:
- Show you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete information we are no longer required to keep.
- Stop sending you anything that is not strictly transactional.
Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 14 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Security
We protect personal information with reasonable technical safeguards — encrypted backups, access controls on our order system, and a small team trained on data handling. No system is perfectly secure; if something does go wrong we will tell you within 72 hours of becoming aware.
Children
Our website and order process are intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from younger visitors.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy we will revise the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the home page for at least 30 days.
